For Hire Service: Automobile and Driver is hired by one party that decides on additional passengers and amount of luggage placed into the vehicle. Path of travel is chosen by Rocket and changes to path of travel by client may result in additional charges due to additional expenses incurred. Restrictions are that all passengers must be buckled in and luggage must fit in vehicle safely.

Travel starting on the Peninsula from Hwy 101 and Hwy 112 to the Hood Canal Bridge going to and from Tacoma, SeaTac, Seattle is based on the type of vehicle desired. Actual vehicle used may be different due to scheduling at no additional charge. $500.00 Round Trip and $300 One Way. Wheelchair Accessible Van (4 passengers WC) $500 Same Day Round Trip – $400 minimum when booked more than one business day in advance. (6-9 passengers WC) $600 Open Round Trip, $400 One Way. Locations on the peninsula farther west and Bellevue, Renton and other destinations have additional charges. Please inquire for your specific travel situation.

Ferry charges apply to all travel destinations north of SeaTac when ferry travel is the expedient path of travel. Current rates are $9.48 Car/Driver each direction if ‘over height’ is not charged, ans $5.52 for each Passenger. Rates will follow charges incurred. If discounted fare is desired passenger must purchase this ticket before travel date. If the trailer is requested and must cross the ferry that day, the ferry charge is $18.00 for the trailer each direction. Please inquire about ferry rates concerning the trailer. Please remember that if the vehicle must cross the ferry a second time while empty, the charges apply to that crossing also.

Travel starting from Hwy 101 and Hwy 112 to the Hood Canal Bridge going to and from the Kingston or Bainbridge Ferry Terminals is $250 Round Trip, and $170 One Way. Other travel options such as a taxi cab may be more economical for these travel destinations. Rocket plans in the future for more flexible and economical travel options to these destinations and we apologize for the current inconvenience.

Wait Time for Same Day Round Trip: First two hours is always included. Additional wait time is charged at $25.00/hour in half hour increments.

Wait Time for Open Round Trip: One Hour wait is included in base rate for the leg of travel returning to the peninsula. Additional wait time is charged at $25.00/hour in half hour increments. Rocket recommends you give yourself at least a half hour after your train or plane arrives to collect your luggage and allow for typical travel delays. Wait Time starts at the time you state you want to be picked up. You must make contact with Rocket to inform the driver that you are running late if you want the driver to wait for you. No contact within one hour of designated pick up time is considered a “No Show” on the part of the client and the trip is considered “Completed” by Rocket. A new trip must be booked for additional service after a No Show.

Please remember that Rocket is traveling more than two hours to get to your pickup point in the Seattle and Tacoma areas and needs as much lead time as you can give to adjust the trip to minimize delays, wait time and additional costs for you. Also, if you make changes to your reservation, you are limited by other reservations made around your initial reservation.
